Upon the Thee Oh Sees

San Francisco’s Thee Oh Sees are familiar faces to Australian crowds. And such lovely familiar garage-rocking in the free world faces they are. You may know that the band started out as a way for John Dwyer to release experimental home recordings.
Soon enough it involved into a full band, undergoing several line-up and name changes along the way. In May, the band released Mutilator Defeated at Last. Former member Brigid Dawson returned to provide backing vocals. Dwyer will be joined by his new band consisting of bassist Timothy Hellman and dual drummers, Ryan Moutinho and Dan Rincon. The Barwon Club, Geelong – January 19.
