As A Matter Of Platter
If the name alone doesn’t draw you in, one look at their platters and you’ll be sold. With locations in Geelong and the surfcoast, Melton and surrounds, and even up in Queensland, these platters are the go-to when you’re looking for something to impress (or just indulge in by yourself, no judgement).
There’s heaps of options too, from a signature desserts box, to a cheese platter box, a fruit platter, a brunch box, and even a DIY Pavlova platter. You’ll also find kids platter boxes, vegan savoury platters, and a loaded cob loaf, because why the hell not?! Prices range from $30 to $80 for most options, with a couple of more exxy platters.

A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required for any order. Have a look for yourself at the website.

Dream Dessert Boxes
If you’re looking to truly treat someone special in your life, these dessert boxes are a great place to start. Based in Geelong, the team make gift buying easy, taking the stress off your shoulders, filling these boxes with an abundance of sweet treats! You can choose to buy a pre-designed box, you can build your own, and you can even request a custom order if you can’t find exactly what you’re looking for. As for what’s in the boxes, you’ll find a number of savoury grazing options, sugar-filled boxes with a bunch of chocolate and lollies, and there’s even a couple with alcohol!

Check it all out via their website.

Splatters
Known around town as the rolling eatery version of a cheese-lover’s mecca, creating fresh, indulgent and delicious cheese platters, Splatters has gone from food truck to one of Geelong’s favourite online grazing stores over the past few months, thanks to lockdown.

Providing a mix of sweet and savoury elements and a variety of textures coming together, Splatter cheese platters (a splatterbox!) have a little something for everyone. Focusing on fresh, housemade, local, imported and season ingredients, these splatterboxes feature an array of divine cheeses accompanied by cured meats (think salami, kabana, prosciutto), season fruit and nuts, dip, a mixture of crackers, olives, dried fruits, vegetable crudites, and other yummies like chocolate dipped pretzels. Splatters (being the considerate folk they are) also offer gluten-free, vegan and vegetarian options, as well as kids boxes, fresh fruit boxes, and even brunch boxes for two.

Prices range from around $30 to $195 depending on what size you’re looking for. Order by 10am for same day delivery, with deliveries made between 11am and 4pm.

The platter boxes are packed with care and include local, specialty cheeses, cured meats and a selection of high quality, fresh and delicious accompaniments. There’s also the option to customise to suit dietary requirements too, so those with allergies or intolerances don’t have to worry about missing out on the fun. Prices range from $59 to $159 and there’s also the option to add a bottle of 6ft6 Prosecco, Sauvignon Blanc, Shiraz or Pinot Noir to your order. Cheese and wine? Hell yes!

Servicing Geelong and the Surf Coast, this small business can create platters filled with cheese, meats, dips and more in various sizes depending on how many people you want to feed, with the ability to cater to a number of dietary requirements.
While the artisan platters are truly blissful (and I spy a cop loaf too), there’s also kids party platters available, filled with donuts, Tim Tams, veggie sticks, crackers, cheese, meats and much more) if you’re looking to treat the kiddies.

We quite enjoy the look of the movie night platter, packed with freshly popped popcorn, Pringle’s, dips and crackers, donuts, lollies, chocolates and more… Netflix and chill never looked so good!
