UNIFY Gathering has just unleashed a monster lineup for 2020

Better start limbering up to hit the mosh pit, because the lineup for the 2020 UNIFY Gathering is here and it’s a serious humdinger… and honestly, it’s perhaps their best lineup yet.

Following weeks of teasing from UNIFY Gathering organisers about which acts might be on this year’s bill and a bunch of speculation and fake posters, the festival officially dropped its full lineup this month, and as promised, it features some pretty huge acts.

Critically acclaimed and celebrated as one of the most influential acts in the world right now, Architects will visit regional Victoria off the back of their incredibly raw and inspired album, Holy Hell, which peaked at #8 on the ARIA charts. Architects’ Friday night headliner set marks the very last stop of their colossal world tour. Punters will bear witness to the strength of the band as they belt out their distinctive vocals and powerful riffs for their only Australian show this summer. If their 2018 UNIFY set is anything to go by, this is going to be monumental.

And that’s not the only set sure to bring a tear to the eye as Saturday night headliner The Ghost Inside make the journey down under for the first time since 2014, exclusively for UNIFY. Rising from the ashes with their triumphant return to the stage after a tragic road accident in 2015, The Ghost Inside truly are limitless and unbreakable. The band performed for the first time since the accident in July this year, at Shrine in their home town of LA. The show sold over 8000 tickets in just an hour – proving their status as one of the most adored and admired bands of their generation. UNIFY is proud to play host to their second show in four years, inspiring fans with their relentless triumph over tragedy and phenomenal live performance.

Two of the biggest Australian metalcore exports around will also be playing return sets at UNIFY in 2020! Following the August release of their fifth studio album and their current US tour, Northlane are easily one of the most hyped bands coming out of the country right now. And returning to UNIFY for the third time is Polaris. The Sydney siders are touted as one of the most exciting live acts in the Aussie heavy music scene – and for very good reason.

It doesn’t stop there though, because we’ll also be seeing emo icons Silverstein deliver their explosive anthemic choruses and dynamic sounds, Tonight Alive (plus friends), Dear Seattle, Knocked Loose, Between You and Me, Tired Lion, Make Them Suffer and The Beautiful Monument. Round these off with an impressive who’s who of extraordinary international acts, some of our best home-grown outfits PLUS more bands to be added on Thursday and Sunday, and you’ve got yourself one killer weekend set in the sprawling pastures of Tarwin Meadows in the magical fields of Tarwin Lower, South Gippsland. It all goes down January 9-12.

Tickets go on sale 9am on Friday September 20 from moshtix.
