When we say fresh, we mean FRESH! Tulip have a policy of shucking oysters to order to ensure the customer receives the delicacy in its finest form. You may not think pre-shucking makes a difference but just wait until you try these ripe, ready and juicy treats.
If our own Portarlington Mussel Tours has taught us anything, it’s that oysters and white wine are a winning combination. Thankfully Tulip have a generous selection of fine wine of the white varieties to complement their Oyster Bar, ranging from local and Victorian grown to imported French flavours. It’s these pairings that work impeccably well with their seasonal menu including their Chef’s Selection tasting menu.
If you would like to continue the indulging experience of Tulip, their current seasonal menu boasts their culinary favourite of Kangaroo with macadamia, preserved lemon and kale, their Jerusalem artichoke, the John Dory, 9 score wagyu porterhouse and another menu favourite their fresh crumpet, egg yolk, jalapeno, trout roe dish.
