Having toured the Retrospective across 2022 to critical acclaim, Childs – who is now officially an Australian citizen – will be performing hits and fan favourites from the seminal 1988 album Union, House of Hope, The Woman’s Boat and Keep the Faith in the first hour of her show.

The second hour will be an awe-inspiring introduction to Childs’ new music from her two latest albums It’s All a Beautiful Noise and Citizens of the Planet, littered with a combination of funky, uplifting beats and more soulful reflective pieces. In a previous interview with the powerhouse singer, Childs says her latest albums were inspired, “by music itself. I love to follow the many threads of inspiration from music including African music and find those voices.”

“The show is divided into two parts – first I play the old songs and then move on to the new stuff. It’s like a box of chocolates. You eat the ones you know and love first and then you are ready to try and discover something new,” she said when previously speaking with us about her tour ‘Retrospective’.

Earning an illustrious reputation for her powerful voice, inspiring independent spirit and crafted storytelling, Childs has collected fans in more than 50 countries around the world while producing an endless list of international hits.

As part of the 2023 shows, Toni Childs is offering an exclusive VIP meet and greet package, which includes one concert ticket within the first row, a digital copy of Toni Childs’ Greatest Hits two CD set, plus a drink backstage before the concert with the performer, at a special ticket price of $175.
