‘Hard Quiz’ Master, Overlord and Gold Logie Award-winner Tom Gleeson is adding a third dimension to Australia’s hardest TV quiz, swapping the studio for a theatre and hitting the road.
Starting in Cairns in February, this tour will go to Warrnambool, Adelaide, Wollongong, Geelong, Noosa, Gold Coast, Caloundra, Mildura, Dubbo, Bendigo, Wyong, Sutherland and Frankston across the year.

Broadcast on ABC and now in its seventh season, Hard Quiz is a well-known Australian television comedy quiz show. Hosted by Tom Gleeson, the show is a spin-off of his “Hard Chat” segment on the satirical television news program The Weekly with Charlie Pickering. It’s the game show where the host doesn’t hide his contempt, and the prize is the chance to stare down a camera while holding a mug.
But this live show will be ‘Hard Quiz’ like you’ve never seen it. Audience members will be pulled on stage for a live roasting from Tom, the most brutal quizmaster since the inquisition. When he’s not flaying contestants for the enjoyment of audience members, he’s a successful stand-up comedian who knows how to command a theatre.
Gleeson has just recently taken the show across Australia and now it’s regional Vic’s turn.
