Heading into Castlemaine on Thursday 11 July and to The Tote in Collingwood on Friday 12 July alongside Kim Salmon’s Smoked Salmon, and into New South Wales for a show at The Crowbar and Mosh Pit Bar, Toyozo (vocals and bass), Assman (guitar), and Ozzy (drums) who make up the infectious garage, pop, punk, melting pot, are an unmissable live experience.

From their bold musical orchestra to the matching ’60s Europop-inspired outfits, The Fadeaway’s have crafted a sound and show that is uniquely their own.

To celebrate the group’s first Australian visit, and to give fans a taste of what’s to come, Cheersquad Records & Tapes will be releasing an exclusive Australian tour LP entitled Pretty Wild, featuring four Fadeaways originals and four covers given the Fadeaways’ patented over-the-top treatment. The covers represent an international garage rock gathering: ‘Levitation’ by Texan legends the Thirteenth Floor Elevators, ‘You’ve Got Me High’ by fantastically named mid-60s Swedish sensation Science Poption, ‘Get The Picture’ by the original London ravers the Pretty Things, and the perennial garage anthem ‘I Can Only Give You Everything’, originally recorded by Northern Ireland’s (and Van Morrison’s) original wild men Them.

Pretty Wild will be available in limited edition pressings of both black and teal. It will be released on July 4, with pre-orders available now. The first single from the album, the ripping ‘Rack My Mind’, is out now and packs a massive punch!

You can listen to ‘Rack My Mind’ here. Tickets to the upcoming The Fadeaways shows are available for purchase here.
