If you love chocolate like we love chocolate, you’ll know that the Great Ocean Road Chocolaterie has long been the place to go to treat yourself to an abundance of the sweet stuff.
Renowned for their month-long celebrations of ice cream, rocky road, hot chocolates, and even Brownies, with their annual Brownie Festival.
Back for 2020, the Great Ocean Road Chocolaterie are hosting a delicious 19-day festival dedicated to the oozy, gooey, chocolatey treat. Expertly crafted by the European Chocolatiers, the festival boasts 16 amazing varieties of limited-edition decadent Brownies, including flavours from banoffee, bourbon pecan pie and neapolitan, to even chocolate gingerbread and a vegan avocado nougatine brownie.
You can enjoy all of the flavours via indulgent tasting plates of Brownie Bites, and/or treat yourself to special creations like Brownie Dessert Pizzas, Brownie Sundaes, Brownie inspired ice cream flavours and even a triple choc brownie donut.
As well as experiencing brownies in every form imaginable, the festival will be hosting tasting sessions, where guests will have the opportunity to create your own signature brownie to take home as well as sampling six sensational Brownie Bites and enjoy a brownie ice cream.
If you’re not ready to head out and about just yet, then that’s okay too. You can order an at-home brownie baking kits and participate from home with the chocolaterie livestreams, which will see pastry chefs on Facebook live teaching audiences how to make the tastiest brownies.
For the brownie devotees, there are even an ultimate brownie tasting box featuring every single flavour. If you love your choccy treats but don’t think you need all 16 flavours, you can head to the ‘Pick and Mix’ section of the website and create your own two or four pack of the hand-made blocks to devour at home.
