Tim Freedman strips back his Whitlams repertoire and delivers classics like “No Aphrodisiac” from the piano, with help from acclaimed pedal steel and guitar player Ollie Thorpe, who has been touring with Freedman in the Whitlams’ alt-country offshoot, The Whitlams Black Stump Band. Their single “The Day John Sattler Broke His Jaw” has been on the Australian Country Music charts for months, and a new poignant version of his 1999 hit “Blow Up the Pokies” commissioned by Wesley Mission is their new track at radio.
The Whitlam’s catalogue is embedded into Australian music history with now classics such as Blow up the Pokies and No Aphrodisiac.
Tim will be playing his way through the favourites of his extensive repertoire in an intimate show – a rare opportunity to reacquaint yourself with this powerhouse of Australian music.
After 3 sold-out shows earlier in the year, Tim returns to the Piano Bar stage for a wonderful tour that is sure to sell out.
SOLD OUT.
