They will commence their Australian tour at previously announced locations Perth on April 1 at Kings Park, followed by Adelaide Entertainment Centre on April 5, Melbourne’s Sidney Myer Music Bowl on April 8, Aware Super Theatre in Sydney on April 12, Centennial Vineyards in Bowral on April 16 and Bluesfest, Byron Bay on April 17, alongside new shows Hobart’s Mystate Bank Arena on Aprll 19, Royal Theatre, Canberra on April 21, and additional A Day On The Green dates on April 23 at Mt Duneed Estate, Geelong, and Bimbadgen, Hunter Valley, on April 24.

The long-standing and much-loved vehicle for the songwriting talents of Neil Finn, Crowded House have gone from strength to strength since their formation in Melbourne 1985 out of the ashes of New Zealand’s Split Enz by Neil, Paul Hester and Nick Seymour.

Their eponymous self-titled debut album on Capitol Records went on to global success with the hits ‘Don’t Dream It’s Over’ and ‘Something So Strong’. Those songs and many that followed are still resonating with audiences today, the former in particular being one of the most covered songs of the last 20 years.

Fast forward to today and the band are revelling in the success of their latest album Dreamers Are Waiting, in which the Crowded House lineup comprises founding members Neil Finn and Nick Seymour alongside producer and keyboardist Mitchell Froom, guitarist and singer Liam Finn and his younger brother, drummer Elroy Finn.

A new generation has grown up and connected with their songs and will now get to experience the band live as they perform legendary anthems from the band’s 35-year career, along with fresh new music.
