This guy recreated the Dirty Dancing finale while home alone in quarantine and we’re impressed

There have been some absolute creative brilliance coming out of this whole global crisis. From quarantine video jams with some of the world’s biggest stars to quarantine parodies (there’s one of Adele’s hit ‘Hello’ and it’s amazing), there has been no shortage of content to bring us joy in these trying times… and today we bring you one more.

Photographer Quinn B Wharton was challenged by a friend to recreate the iconic dance scene from the 1987 movie Dirty Dancing and he has absolutely nailed it.

Hilariously recreating the ‘Dirty Dancing’ finale frame by frame, Wharton goes to extreme lengths to pull this off. No detail was missed, the camera work rivals that off a professional filmmaker… and being that he was quarantined alone, he even used a lamp to play Baby.

To show how closely he recreated the scene, he even matched the original with his version in split-screen for all to see.

From Wharton’s Facebook page:

“A good friend of mine challenged me to recreate famous dance scenes from movies while at home alone in quarantine. I was hesitant at first but thought I would give it a try. Here is the iconic finale scene from Dirty Dancing with me playing every character and doing every piece of camera work.”

Check it out below and prepare to be impressed.
