It’s always a vibe when one of Geelong’s venues puts on an after-dark, adults-only, boozy session, and the latest to do so is none other than Dribbles Burgers, right in the heart of town.
Having become the place to go to watch the world’s greatest athletes while satisfying your hunger cravings and undying affection for meat in a bun, the absolute stars down at the basketball-themed burger bar are now upping the ante with their new adults-only sessions, ‘Dribbles After Dark’.

Running from 7:30pm until late on Friday and Saturdays, this slinky restaurant is turning into a dessert bar slash cocktail bar that promises to be a whole heap of boozy, candy-coated fun.
As you’d expect from an adults-only event, the team have launched a whole new lineup of boozy desserts, shakes and cocktails.
If you like your booze shaken, get around their delicious concoctions like the ‘Who Gives A Floss’ cocktail (42 below Vodka, Chambord, Lime Juice, Fairy Floss), the All That Jazz cocktail (White rum, Blue Curacao, Pineapple Juice, Coconut Cream), or even the New York on the rocks, which has the perfect mix of Fireball, 42 Below Vodka, Apple juice, Cinnamon.
If you’re anything like us and you don’t mind a nice, boozy kick to your desserts, then Dribbles well and truly have you covered with their indulgent alcohol-spiked desserts.
There’s a sweet Apple Pie Trifle, made with layers of stewed spiced apples, cinnamon whipped cream, caramel bourbon granola; or a Cherry Ripe Parfait made with Vodka infused Cherry ripe parfait topped with whipped cream. For those that like to go the extra mile, the Raspberry Panna Cotta has your name all over it, made with Raspberry and tequila jelly set over smooth orange panna cotta.
Some things in this world are just so, so right – and those desserts are it.
Already renowned for their delicious shakes including choc cookie, salted caramel, peanut butter cup and the sugar-loaded strawberry pop tart, we’re betting their boozy shakes will be a welcomed addition alongside these numbers. We don’t have eyes on that menu yet but we’re confident they’ll be both alcoholic and delicious.
Alongside all the sweets, treats and booze, there will also be a live DJ and the legends will still be slinging their famous burgers named after some of the game’s biggest stars, kickass loaded fries, Buffalo Wings (coasted in house-made buffalo sauce), jalapeno poppers, cheese and bacon chicken ribs, and mac and cheese bites if you’re wanting to start with dinner.
With bright urban graffiti lining the walls (courtesy of Set It Off Melbourne), wall-mounted TVs where you can watch the best of the NBA, and tonnes of seating, Dribbles is an easy pick for date nights with a difference, now more so than ever.
Dribbles After Dark runs Friday and Saturday from 7:30pm at 4-6 Shorts Place Geelong. These nights are strictly over 18s only.
