A Spot For Joe is saying goodbye to their loyal customers with a free 'cup of joe'
Tucked away in the heart of the Geelong CBD, A Spot For Joe has become one of Geelong’s most popular coffee destinations in the last few years.
Offering a large selection of New York-inspired bagels (a good bagel has the power to make an ordinary day great – and A Spot For Joe’s bagels had the power to make even the worst day in lockdown seem like a thing of beauty), delicious sweet treats and a contemporary menu of mouth-watering breakfasts and gourmet lunches, this little gem was a relaxing spot to fuel up any day of the week. With a gorgeous modern interior and vibrant and bubbly staff, the Melbourne / New York feel A Spot For Joe created was a truly little slice of paradise.

Now after five years of caffeinating the region, A Spot For Joe owner Dave Browning has announced he’s sold the business and to celebrate the end of this chapter, the cafe is slinging free coffees tomorrow morning (Saturday, June 18).
From 9am to 11am, your Saturday coffee is sorted and paid for.
“5 years of ups and downs and we’ve chosen to finish on an up. We’re excited to see what the new owners will bring to this space! … Watch this space. ,” Dave wrote in a social media post.
“5 years has seen many faces, many lessons and many smiles. Thank you to everyone that has chosen to come to this little 50sqm coffee shop to spend their hard earned with us. It has kept all the different faces over the years behind the counter fed and on their individual journeys.
“We’d be lying if we said that we’ve loved every single minute of it, but it’s all been an extremely rewarding journey, and now, it’s time for the next chapter!
“We would love to have the chance to say our thank you and goodbyes 9-11 this Saturday over a coffee, on us!
“I hope to see you then for one last cup of Joe.”
