Thirsty Merc Cancelled After Car Crash

Sad news comes with the announcement that the Geelong Thirsty Merc gig tonight has been cancelled after the band were involved in a car crash en route to their Warrnambool gig yesterday.
The car crash included a fatality of one of the crew members, assumed to be the stage manager. Drummer Mick Skelton was also seriously injured in the accident.
Forte sends its condolences to the crew member’s family, the band and wishes a speedy recovery for Skelton. All tickets purchased to the Barwon Club gig tonight will be refunded.
