There’s a beer festival happening in Geelong this weekend

Did someone say get on the beers?!

If you’re still nursing that broken heart from the news that Geelong’s Great Australian Beer Festival was cancelled for 2021, then boy do we have news for you.

Thanks to those legends over at The Inn – a place renowned for their annual car park parties – the beer festivities are back on this summer with the hotel’s very own mini beer festival.

Taking over the car park and beer garden on Saturday, January 9, there will be eight different beers on tap, full summer menu, and live entertainment from Rach Brennan, Abe Anderson and Mitch Loughnan (DJ), as well as the insanely good vibes that come with all their carpark parties. If you’ve ever attended one of their car park parties you’ll know exactly what vibe we’re talking about, and if you haven’t, well you’ll be able to find out for yourself.

So far the beers announced include Furphy Ale and Furphy Lager, Blackman’s Brewery (Torquay), Little Creatures Pale Ale, Little Creatures XPA, Rodgers and Brooklyn Sour, among a few special other brews.

A beer festival inside a pub in the middle of summer, can we get a ‘hell yeah’?

This event is free, and they’ll be taking bookings up to 9pm, with walk-ins only after 9pm.
