The Waifs announce massive regional tour

The Waifs have long held a connection with Australia’s regional areas, touring just about every nook and cranny of the country across their career, so it comes with little surprise that their latest tour will see the band focusing on regional areas once more – especially following the promise made to fans last year.
They’ll be hitting the road in a continuation of the celebrations for their 25th anniversary, an occasion which saw the band releasing their latest album Ironbark last year. Ironbark served as the band’s eighth studio album and earnt the band their first ARIA #1 single with ‘Higher Ground’.
The massive fifteen-date national tour will see the band playing shows in towns such as Townsville, Bundaberg, Kings Beach, Mt Gambier, Port Pire, Bellford, Upwey, San Remo and Warrnambool where fans can expect to see a collection of hits from the band’s extensive catalogue.
The Waifs are heading to Geelong Performing Arts Centre on Wednesday October 10.
