Torquay's most loved night, 'Locals Night' returns with a star studded lineup of acts + DJ's local to our region.
Over the last few years, The Torquay Hotel has become the beating heart of live music in regional Victoria. The hotel’s flourishing music culture is attracting world-class acts not just in summer, but all year round, and fostering homegrown talent until they themselves are world-class acts.
It’s a big part of the culture at the Torquay Hotel: to support local artists, with the venue often allocating emerging bands from the region support slots for big-name bands and fostering a culture of live music for younger bands.

This weekend, the hotel is putting local acts in the spotlight, hosting its second edition of ‘Local’s Night’ on Friday, January 20th.
Featuring six game-changing acts who are local to the region, the evening will see garage psych five-piece Beans and psychedelic five-piece Bananagun on headlining duties, with further sets from Jan Juc indie rockers Savage Honey, four-piece alt-rock band Mona Bay, guitar-pop rockers Paraquay, as well as Dr Worm on the decks and DJ’s in the beer garden all night long.
With the last local’s night selling out, this edition promises to be a party for the ages – plus a great chance to catch some local heroes before they embark on world domination.
