Rock and soul quintet The Sugarcanes will swing by ‘In the Loop’ territory next month as their self titled debut keeps winning fans from your grandma to the postie.
The Melbourne band was started by brother and sister team Jack and Lucy Wilson in early 2014 and the album follows on from the release of single ‘Oh Darling’, which was recorded live at Laneway Studios. A national tour with The Smith Street Band, a spot on the premiere of Laura Imbruglia’s Amateur Hour and appearances at a string of local festivals have served the band very well, backed up when they sold out their album launch at The Tote.
