Having only recently toured the country in celebration of their 15 year anniversary, The Smith Street Band are jumping back into the tour van.

It’s not an Australian Tour (sorry WA & SA!), it’s not a regional tour, it’s a gaggle of gigs, it’s the Odds & Ends Tour.

A gaggle of gigs is a new one but that’s precisely what The Smith Street Band’s upcoming tour is – 19 shows including three festival stop-ins (Darwin’s Rock The Bay, How Here? Festival on the Gold Coast and Ignition MTB Festival in Falls Creek) across a decent portion of the country.

Starting from September, The Smith Street Band will be lighting up stages in Darwin, Launceston, Hobart, Cleveland, Caloundra, Brisbane, Gold Coast, Warrnambool, Geelong, Central Coast, Kiama, Sydney, South Morang, Mt Evelyn, Belgrave, San Remo, Frankston, Wagga Wagga and wrapping up late November in Falls Creek.

The tour sees a lot of firsts for the The Smith Street Band, something rare after 15 years of touring this country, as they play their first all-ages show at the Singing Bird in Frankston, and venture to new territory at Cleveland, Caloundra, Kiama, South Morang, Wagga Wagga and for their Falls Creek appearance.

To help them celebrate, The Smith Street Band have selected three powerhouse supports from their home state to join them on the tour. The Pretty Littles, who supported on the 15 year anniversary tour, are back for two shows in Tasmania. While Money Boys will support on the Queensland run and power pop five piece Raging Hormones will open the shows in Victoria.

The Smith Street Band have recently started writing their seventh album, expected for release in mid 2025, it will follow their 2022 album Life After Football and the #1 ARIA Album Don’t Waste Your Anger from 2020.

Will there be new The Smith Street Band music teasers at the show? You’ll just have to head along to find out! Tickets are on sale now here.
