The Rubens reveal rescheduled dates for their Live In Life tour

After postponing their largest headline tour to date (thank COVID-19 you bloody menace), The Rubens have officially announced their rescheduled tour dates, with the ‘Live in Life’ shows now set to take place from September to December 2020, performing nearly 30 dates throughout the country.

The tour will kick off Thursday, 17th September in Sydney at the Enmore Theatre and see them hit up a number of metro cities as well as some regional hot spots, including Warrnambool, Torquay, and Bendigo.

This will be the first time the NSW band will play to national audiences since their 2018 LO LA RU album shows, and comes in support of their summer hit, ‘Live In Life’ – which is now certified Platinum. Since its November release, ‘Live In Life’ has been a summer anthem across triple j (#1 most played) & the HIT network, as well as spins across Nova National Late Nights & Triple M National Late Night/Weekends. Elsewhere, the track has been hugely embraced by fans across Spotify & Apple Music, totalling over 17 million streams, and generating over 100,000+ Shazams in Australia alone.

Previously purchased tickets will be valid for rescheduled shows, but the band have acknowledged that it’s a tough time all around. For those who have bought tickets and wish to know their ticketing options, information can be found on the band’s website. As originally planned, they’ll be joined for the majority of the tour by special guest Alice Ivy.
