The Pickers Union Has Reopened for Business with a New Look

For lovers of the North Geelong cafe, the past few weeks would have been trying times due to the Pickers Union being closed for renovations.

Coffees could still be grabbed from a temporary outdoor barista station the cafe had set up – but it wasn’t the same.

The Pickers Union has officially reopened today after tantalising customers with snippets of what the new venue was to look like.

Included in the renovations is a change to the kitchen, moving it and making it a large commercial scale kitchen – as apposed to the small space previously worked in.

Things are fresher, with a contemporary – yet still quirky – Malibu vibe. As for the menu, you’ll have to discover that for yourself.

Head down to The Pickers Union at 3 Mackey St, North Geelong. Open Mon-Fri 8am-3.30pm and Sat-Sun 8.30am-3.30pm.
