The Kid LAROI announces first-ever Australian tour in 2022

Fresh off topping the US charts, The Kid LAROI is returning to Australia as part of his debut headline tour of his homeland.

In the news we all needed to hear this week, The Kid LAROI is returning to Australia and New Zealand in May/June 2022 for his first ever headlining tour.

The Kid LAROI, real name Charlton Kenneth Jeffrey Howard, was born in the inner-city Sydney suburb of Waterloo but has since become one of the more successful Australian musical exports of the past decade, despite only being 18.

F*CK Love 3+:Over You is one of the year’s biggest albums, gaining the 18 year old Kamilaroi rapper worldwide success and opportunities to collaborate with artists like Justin Beiber, creating the insanely catch ‘Stay’. Literally on repeat.

Amongst all that, he also became the most streamed rapper on Spotify after his monthly listeners overtook none other than Kendrick Lamar. Many may put ‘Without You’’s popularity down to its inclusion in many viral Tiktok videos, but when looking at charts, streams and reviews it’s evident that The Kid Laroi is much more than an internet fad. But that will be solidified to the naysayers when he wins this year’s Hottest 100.

The Kid LAROI has racked up more than three billion global streams and broken the Australian airplay record for most non-consecutive weeks in the Australian number-one airplay slot.

Fresh off the heels of his debut VMA performance and sold out NYC show at Irving Plaza, the END OF THE WORLD TOUR kicks off in the United States before heading across the globe. The Australia/New Zealand leg will begin Thursday May 26 in The Kid LAROI’s hometown of Sydney, before heading to Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne, Brisbane, Wellington and Auckland.

“I am beyond excited to share this experience with you all,” he said.

“It’s always been a dream of mine to headline a global tour. I cannot wait to see my fans all around the world and give them something that they won’t ever forget. It’s been a long time coming.”

Catch him at Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne on June 3 2022. General Public On Sale begins Fri 17 Sep, 11am (local time) at
