The IN8 Life Health Studio hosts charity event to raise awareness and funds for international nonprofit organisation Destiny Rescue and to end child sex trafficking.

In a resounding call to arms against child sex trafficking, The IN8 Life Health Studio is set to host the inaugural “Destiny Rescue: Adjusting for Change Day” – a charity event that aims to raise awareness and funds for the renowned international nonprofit organisation, Destiny Rescue.

Nestled at 53 Hope St, Geelong West, The IN8 Life Health Studio – a holistic health and wellness centre that believes in the interconnectedness of mind, body, and soul – will open its doors from 9 am to 12 pm on November 18th, inviting the community to join hands in supporting a cause that fights against the darkness of child exploitation.

Steph Sanzaro, the practice manager, emphasised the event’s purpose, stating, “Child sex trafficking is a dark and pervasive industry that preys on society’s most vulnerable members. Destiny Rescue: Adjusting for Change Day is designed to be a heartwarming gathering, where attendees can experience personal transformation and contribute to a significant cause.”

The event promises a day of community bonding and noble contributions. Attendees can expect charity chiropractic adjustments for existing clients, spinal assessments for friends and the public, live music by local artist Lisa Joy, face painting by TJ’s Face Painting, a silent auction featuring generous contributions from local businesses, and viewings of Destiny Rescue mission documentaries.

Sanzaro shared that the inspiration for the event stemmed from the movie “Sound of Freedom,” which sheds light on the unimaginable horrors of child sex trafficking and the heroic efforts to rescue innocent lives. This spark ignited a passion to be part of the mission to end child sex trafficking.

In alignment with this vision, The IN8 Life Health Studio has partnered with Destiny Rescue, an international nonprofit organisation dedicated to combating child sex trafficking. Destiny Rescue’s mission spans rescue operations, prevention, intervention, and aftercare programs that focus on physical, emotional, and educational support.

“Our ambitious goal for this year is to raise $10,000 to fund a Destiny Rescue Raid. Every contribution, no matter the size, plays a vital role in helping us reach it,” stated Sanzaro.

Local businesses, including Built by Hammond, db Sam – Brooke McDonald, Braces n Faces Orthodontics, Liam Le Kelle, and Recreate, have sponsored the event, each contributing $1000 to Destiny Rescue. As of now, the collective efforts have raised $5800.
