The Hundred Hole Hike

Tomorrow night, Friday, January 22, the wonderful Music to a Tee concert series hits a high note, sharing the day with the ‘Hundred Hole Hike’.

For those unfamiliar, the ‘Hundred Hole Hike’ is a national network of golf marathons where participants plan to walk 100 or more holes of golf in one day in order to raise money for various worthwhile charitable causes. The Music to a Tee series, meanwhile, is put together by the Karingal Foundation, which was launched in 2012 as part of Karingal’s 60th anniversary.

Karingal is a not for profit organisation providing a range of services for people with a disability or mental illness, older Australians and those disadvantaged. The concert features the outstanding talents of multi-ARIA winners and blues greats Backsliders, as well as singersongwriter and storyteller Stephen Cummings.

The Band Who Knew Too Much, Tim McCallum, The Carers Choir and Growland will also perform. Rod Quantock will be your dashing MC, while SEN will broadcast the event. The 13th Beach Golf Links is the venue. Further information on Music to a Tee can be found through karingal.org.au, while further information on ‘Hundred Hole Hike’ is available through hundredholehike.com.
