Prepare to be enthralled as ‘A Night with Tina’ sashays into the Potato Shed at 8 pm on Friday, April 5. Led by celebrated drag tribute artist Fabio Cattafi and his ensemble of six backup dancers, this spectacular event promises to bring to life the timeless hits of the iconic Queen of Rock ‘n’ Roll, Tina Turner.

Fabio Cattafi, renowned for his meticulous attention to detail, will step into the heart, soul, and stilettos of his idol, Tina Turner. From meticulously replicated outfits and wigs to flawlessly applied makeup, Fabio channels Tina’s spirit, capturing her captivating essence and stage presence with uncanny precision.

Audiences can expect to witness Tina’s fierce confidence, dynamic vocals, and electrifying dance moves, leaving them convinced that they’re in the presence of the Queen of Rock ‘n’ Roll herself.

With a career spanning over 35 years, Fabio has graced prestigious stages, including performances with the Australian Opera and Disney. His repertoire includes appearances on iconic Australian television shows such as ‘Hey Hey It’s Saturday’ and ‘In Melbourne Tonight’, as well as numerous musical theatre productions, including a memorable performance alongside Bert and Patti Newton in ‘The Wizard of Oz’.

The two-hour show will feature all of Tina Turner’s greatest hits, including ‘Proud Mary’, ‘Nutbush City Limits’, ‘Simply the Best’, ‘Private Dancer’, and many more.

One of the world’s best-selling artists of all time, Tina Turner sold more than 200 million records, won 12 Grammy Awards, and her live shows were seen by millions, with more concert tickets sold than any other solo performer in music history. When she was inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall of Fame in October 2021, Tina Turner became one of only three women in the institution’s history to be inducted twice (she was initially inducted in 1991, alongside Ike Turner).

She has produced a catalogue of hit songs including River Deep (Mountain High)What’s Love Got To Do With It, A Fool in Love, Proud Mary, Nutbush City Limits and The Best and was the face of Australian Rugby League during the 80s & 90s, making appearances at NRL Grand Finals & in several TV commercials. With the Nutbush, she headed a dance craze that’s still loved across Australia today.
