The Crab Club is coming to Lorne Hotel this summer

Chef Geoff Lindsay’s Crab Club was a popular holiday favourite when he opened in Sorrento for last summer, and this year he returns with a whole new coastal venue.

The Crab Club will see the top floor of the Lorne Hotel converted into a 120-seat dining room from December 27 until January 6.

There’ll be plenty of hot towels, bibs and crackers as you dine in on Mud, Antarctic King, Blue Swimmers, Sand and Soft Shell crab.

Starters consist of classic cakes, chowder, crab and coconut salad, crab leg cocktail and a soft shell slider. A non-crab ‘dish of the day’ should satisfy the crustacean averse.

Happy hour runs from 5pm daily on the deck and with a successful past season, it’s looking to be a great summer to spend in Lorne.
