Hailing from the musical haven of Auckland, New Zealand, this four-piece powerhouse is composed of the dynamic vocalist/guitarist Elizabeth Stokes, guitar maestro Jonathan Pearce, bassist Benjamin Sinclair, and the rhythm magician Tristan Deck. These guys started making music magic back in high school, and they’ve been on an upward trajectory ever since.

Their debut album, “Future Me Hates Me,” dropped in 2018 and blew minds worldwide, earning accolades from Pitchfork as “one of the most impressive indie-rock debuts of the year.” The following year, The Beths bagged five nominations at the Vodafone New Zealand Music Awards, clinching titles like Best Group and Best Alternative Artist.

International acclaim? Check. Tours with legends like Pixies, Death Cab for Cutie, and The Breeders? Check. Festival appearances at Primavera Sound, The Great Escape, and more? Check. And we haven’t even mentioned their headline tours across North America, the United Kingdom, Europe, and of course, Australia!

Their sophomore album, “Jump Rope Gazers,” dropped in 2020, and it was a rollercoaster ride of emotions and infectious melodies. Winning Album of the Year, Best Group, and Best Alternative Artist at New Zealand’s Aotearoa Music Awards, The Beths were officially on fire.

Fast forward to their third and latest album, “Expert In A Dying Field,” released to critical acclaim in 2022. Pitchfork, The Ringer, Stereogum – everyone’s singing their praises. The Beths even made waves on U.S. television, making their debut on CBS Saturday Morning and rocking a Tiny Desk Concert for NPR.
