Live out your prom night dreams with this epic event headed up by the likes of Mannequin Death Squad, Baby 8 and Von Stache.
Time to reach for your puffiest party dresses and your best-coloured suit, Prom Night is heading to Geelong this October.
Presented by the legendary B. Bookings, Prom Night will take over the Barwon Club on Saturday, October 8 for the night of all nights. Expect a Carrie vs Napoleon Dynamite-type vibe with a mash of all things tacky, weird and wonderful featuring hand-painted decorations, shimmering goodness and of course… a stellar stacked lineup of bands! (As if we’d ever expect anything less from the BC).

Kicking off from 4pm, live performances will come from Melbourne punk rock duo Mannequin Death Squad, heavy-hitters Dead, punchy and unapologetic three-piece rock band Baby Mullet, power-pop five-piece Baby 8, psychedelic rock trio Heavy Amber, Geelong hardcore outfit Eyeroll, local melodic punk band Von Stache and the energetic The Booby Boys.

Between acts, the DJ WRMBOY will keep the vibes up and continue the party once the last act leaves the stage until 1am, and there will be a happy hour to get everyone warmed up with cheap drinks from 4pm to 6pm.

As part of the event, the entire band room will be dressed up, so punters are encouraged to dress up themselves! Traditional or unconventional, whatever your take on PROM NIGHT may be, the BC want to see it.
As with any great event, there will also be an array of prizes to be won including best dressed, worst dressed, crowning of the King & King and crowning of the Queen & Queen.
