The line up for The Falls music festival is officially out, adding to previously announced headliners Childish Gambino and London Grammar.
After must speculation and after appearing at Splendour In the Grass earlier this year, The Avalanches have locked in another Australian stint with a performance at the festival. The band took a significant break before 2016, with 16 years between their newest and last release.
The full line up is: Childish Gambino (no sideshows), London Grammar (no sideshows), The Avalanches, Violent Soho, Matt Corby, Alison Wonderland*, Catfish and the Bottlemen*, Fat Freddy’s Drop*, Ta-Ku, The Rubens*, The Jezabels, Ball Park Music, Grouplove, Bernard Fanning*, Jamie T, BROODS, Tkay Maidza*, Grandmaster Flash, Illy, MØ, Hot Dub Time Machine, DMA’S, ALUNAGEORGE, Booka Shade, Client Liaison, Vallis Alps, Parquet Courts, City Calm Down, L D R U*, Modern Baseball, Tired Lion*, Remi*, Ry X, Marlon Williams*, Lemaitre and Shura.
There’ll also be more acts announced for each indiidual location. It’s worth noting, all bands with an ‘*’ aren’t playing the Fremantle location.
Tickets go on sale 9am Tuesday, August 30 via the website. There is no longer a ballot for Falls Festival.
