Steve Boyd, renowned Melbourne based soul singer and roots music artist, is bringing his tribute to Irish music legend Van Morrison to Perth in May. Accompanied by a 7–piece band, Boyd will perform Sooki Lounge in Belgrave on Sunday 4th June, much to the delight of local music enthusiasts.
Scottish born singer / songwriter Steve Boyd made a name for himself in the Australian ‘blues & roots’ scene with his band ‘The Preachers’ releasing four critically acclaimed albums and appearing regularly at major fesivals around Australia, including the renowned Byron Bay Blues Festival for three consecutive years.
Those fortunate enough to have seen one of the rare perfomances of The Australian Van Morrison Show can attest to a great evening of awesome songs, performed by talented and professional musicians. The Van Morrison tribute will play a select amount of shows around the country in 2023.
