All Geelong locals know a Veeped party is a good party.

One of the parties of the year that leads into the holiday season is the Veeped Xmas party.

Every year on the weekend before Christmas, the Barwon Club Hotel host this esteemed event ran by the Veeped Bored Co team (who know a thing or two about throwing a party) and this year it returns for its ninth edition.

Yes nine, talk about a successful run!

Usually, the event would run over one day and takeover the entire venue, with three stages of local bands and DJs! Last year alone saw the likes of ZUMA, Matt Bourke and the Delusional Drunks, Green Blanket, Chook and Moluck, Jelly Mammoth, Aya Aya, Icky Sticks, Detach Me and more take to the stage.

Due to restrictions, things will be a little different this year. The crew will be running four seated shows over two days featuring a huge lineup of 16 local acts, providing a great chance to catch up with mates before Christmas whilst supporting local musicians and the venue in the process. It’s a win, win, win!

The full lineup is yet to be announced so keep an eye on their socials, but judging from their previous soirées we’re all going to be in for a massive weekend.

Consider this your save the date – Saturday, December 19 and Sunday, December 20.
