"After some time away, we've decided it's time to bring back our yearly Pako Festa party."

Pakington street will once again come alive with an abundance of colour, unique costumes, live music, street performers, multicultural food, and traditional dancing in celebration of Geelong’s diverse mix of cultures with people from all walks of life with Pako Festa 2023, finally returning home where it belongs.

With the 2021 event taking place in a festival hub format and last year’s festival moving entirely to the Diversitat Northern Community Hub, it’s now time to bring Pako Festa back home, returning to the streets on Saturday, February 25 2023! And with that, the annual Pako Festa carpark party will also make its grand return!

Hosted by the beloved Pakington Street pub and live music venue The Barking Dog, the famed carpark will come alive once more to coincide with the fabulous Pakington Street festival.

With three stages of live music, doors will open from 3pm while with $10 entry and drink specials to keep punters going all night long.

With DJs in the carpark from 5pm and DJs inside from 4pm onwards, you’ll be dancing along to the likes of esteemed local DJs Steve Toppa, TVB, Paddy Slack, Konnect, Shorty J, Samuel Barklay and Boden Mugridge.
