Yes, you read that right. Soon there will be a film adaptation of the much-beloved video game. The film is to be co-produced by Larry Kasanoff, who has confirmed recent rumours that the adaptation will in fact be a trilogy. Despite the adaptation being announced back in 2014, speculation is just starting to gather about the content of the films, about which the co-producer is being very secretive. The only thing he would say is that the decision to split it into a trilogy isn’t just a money thing; apparently there was too much story to fit into just one movie. This just leaves us humble Tetris fans to speculate, and I don’t know about you, but I’m hoping for a Wreck-It Ralph style exploration of the lives and times of a Tetris block just trying to fit in.
