“I am very excited to return to Australia after two years. Prior to COVID, Australia was becoming my second home. I love the people, the nature and the ocean that surrounds the beautiful country. Many songs from my latest album Good Company were written while sitting on different beaches in VIC, QLD & NSW. I’m excited to share all my new music, and stories to all the Aussies, but I’m also very excited to have a delicious meat pie.”
Good Company, produced by Juno nominee Ross Hayes Citrullo has been featured on CBC Radio, SiriusXM, Stingray Music, OMNI TV, The RepresentASIAN Project, Exclaim!, and more. It has gained over 80K streams, with music videos over 90K YouTube views. Tennyson was recently names Songwriter of the Year at the Mississauga Music Awards and Good Company is nominated for the 2023 Canadian Folk Music Awards.
“The opening track of this album ‘Share This Moment’, was written on a day off during my 2019 Australian tour. I was sitting alone on 9 Mile Beach, just near Forster, NSW. Reflecting on all my recent travels in Australia and Asia. All the wonderful connections travelling and playing music allows me to make, and how I get to spend beautiful moments with so many different people in the world. I realized that if I could just keep living life, sharing moments with everyone I meet, I’d be a very happy human.”
