Words by staff writer

UK alt-rockers, Kasabian crash back into Australia for shows in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane.

It’s been too long between visits to Australian audiences for UK alt-rockers Kasabian, ten years in fact. Making up for lost time the band are heading back down under for a headline tour of Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane set for March 2025.

With their distinct brand of electro-rock, the Leicester outfit promises to deliver a career-spanning set that will have fans on their feet, singing along to some of the most iconic anthems of the 21st century.

Having built a reputation as a ferocious live act — recently confirmed by their electrifying Glastonbury set — Kasabian will hit Aussie stages with all the energy and swagger that’s made them a festival headline staple for years. Their setlist is expected to feature hits from across their seven-album discography, including fan favourites like Fire, Underdog, Clubfoot and You’re in Love with a Psycho.

Joining Kasabian on this mammoth tour will be fellow UK indie-pop favourites, Blossoms. The Stockport band, known for their infectious, funky indie-pop anthems, have become a chart force in their own right.

With five albums under their belt — including four Number 1s in the UK — their live shows have earned rave reviews for their energetic, singalong vibe. Tracks like ‘Charlemagne’, ‘Your Girlfriend’ and ‘How Long Will It Last?’ are guaranteed to get the crowd moving.

Kasabian, who formed in 1997, are now one of the most successful and influential acts in British rock. With six UK Number 1 albums, over 5.5 million records sold worldwide and an armful of awards (including multiple NME and BRIT Awards), their pedigree is undeniable. Their most recent album, Happenings (2024), continues to push their genre-defying sound to new heights.

Tickets to see Kasabian go on general sale on Friday, 22 November at 10am local time via Destroy All Lines.
