In a slight departure from their previous sound, ‘Weaponz’ sees Teenage Dads deliver a vibrant alt-rock anthem reminiscent of The Strokes, pulsating with the frenetic energy characteristic of their live performances. Vocalist Alex Wall reflects on the track, expressing that “sometimes you need to take a bullet (or wield a bazooka) to see your vision come to life.” To complement the release, the band debuts the official music video for ‘Weaponz’, adding a visual dimension to their dynamic sonic narrative.

This announcement follows a stellar 2023 for Teenage Dads, during which they conquered global stages, playing over 94 shows across 10 countries and three continents. Notably, their Midnight Driving EP soared to #2 on the ARIA Album Charts, and the band clinched the 2023 Michael Gudinski Breakthrough Artist ARIA Award. Their remarkable journey continued with multiple appearances in triple j’s Hottest 100, culminating in an electrifying debut on the Amphitheatre stage at Splendour In The Grass.

Undeterred by their past successes, Teenage Dads charge full steam ahead into 2024, embarking on an extensive international headline tour spanning the US, Canada, UK, and Europe. Their itinerary includes prestigious festivals such as Tunes In The Dunes, A Stones Throw Festival, and Snow Machine, marking significant milestones in their burgeoning career.

With their infectious energy and undeniable talent, Teenage Dads reaffirm their status as one of Australia’s most exciting musical exports, captivating audiences worldwide with their electrifying performances and infectious melodies.
