Running from July 7 – 30, Tastes of Central Geelong is the foodie festival celebrating all things delicious in the region that will have you salivating.
With 24 days of festival food, flavors and fun, Central Geelong becomes the ultimate food hub to indulge in all of your senses.
With everything from coffee crawls, vegan ventures and barista classes to bake offs and special two-course lunches, there’s pretty much something to keep you busy every day of the festival. You can sample gourmet food and drink, learn tricks of the trade from local and celebrity chefs, wine, dine and participate in food themed events or even eat your way down Little Malop Street West, tasting a little something from a variety of businesses!
A highlight comes with the burger off at Snagga’s, where K Rock’s daily breakfast hosts Tom and Buckle go head-to-head in creating the ultimate burger. The first 50 tickets are free, with all including two slider burgers, beer tastings and salted fries.
Another one to look out for is with the Little Beast Cocktail Workshop, where you can hone in on your mad ninja cocktail skills. Little Beast and Co will be putting on a cocktail workshop to guide you on how to make killer drinks through technique, balancing and showing off with a little flair. Package includes drinks, nibbles and a certificate that you can mount above your home bar. Let the fun begin here.
An interesting addition to the Tastes of Central Geelong program, is the partnership with OrderHub, which sees Geelong workers able to order a lunch delivered right to their desk.
There is also give-aways and special offers available throughout the festival, including the chance to win dinner for a year! In partnership with Revitalising Central Geelong, one lucky winner will receive 12 dining vouchers to some of the best restaurants in Central Geelong.
