Three years old was old enough for Melbourne’s Tash Sultana to begin mucking around with the guitar.
Whatever her dexterity may have been at such a young age, today the self taught artist has an arsenal of ten instruments, including guitar, mandolin and panpipes. She is pretty handy when it comes to beat boxing as well.
While she began writing music at the age of 13, it was a Newton Faulkner show at St Kilda’s Palais in 2010 that provided a moment of inspiration. With her single ‘Gemini’ still running hot, Tash has served up another in ‘Notion’. She has also sold out three Melbourne shows and three Sydney shows, so those in the Torquay area will want to be quick.
