STORYFEST: A festival celebrating storytelling in all its forms

In its third year, Central Geelong will be the host to 13 DAYS OF FUN (WOO) at Storyfest these school holidays.
Storyfest is a celebration of storytelling in all its forms, and is aimed at children aged 3-16, and the adults in their life. Children can participate in fun activities, performances, workshops, exhibitions and competitions – led by artists, storytellers, educators and entertainers.
Kicking off on Tuesday April 3 and running until Sunday April 15, you’ll find activities located in various Central Geelong cultural facilities, book shops, cafes, creative spaces, shopping centres, attractions and public spaces.
These activities include a Story Garden, an Enchanted Forest, Fairy Tale Crafts, Best KiD Busker Competitions, and a Storyfest Mural. All activities are completely free, and bookings aren’t necessary, but we recommend that you go early, just so you don’t miss out.
For a full line up of all the fun there is to be had, download a Storyfest Program and map from www.centralgeelong.com.au/storyfest.
