A highlight to the clubs annual events calendar, the Renegades Family Day brings the whole Renegades community together for some good old fashioned community engagement and entertainment.

Kicking off at 12pm and running through to 3pm at Geelong waterfront’s Steampacket Gardens, the free event promises a jam-packed afternoon of family-friendly activations for all ages as the club celebrates their outstanding efforts across the Big Bash League season which is set to continue into the new year.

Attendees will have the chance to meet their heroes in red, collect autographs and selfies, and participate in exciting activities throughout the day.

There will also be plenty of prizes and giveaways from the club’s wonderful partners including Geelong’s own K ROCK 95.5 where some of the radio station’s familiar faces (and voices!) will join the festivities. This year’s Renegades Family Day follows on from 2024’s successful Geelong Beach Bash which saw locals take on the Renegades and K ROCK’s Cameron Ling and Tim Bolch in a game of beach cricket on the waterfront.

The Renegades have been back in Geelong and on the The Bellarine for the Big Bash League. The ‘Gades will be back at the GMHBA stadium on Thursday 19 December to take on rivals from across Bass Strait, Hobart Hurricanes. The team boasts local players Jake Fraser McGurk, Josh Brown, Adam Zampa, and international stars Laurie Evans, Jacob Bethell and Tim Seifert with Geelong audiences able to see them up close.

Tickets to the Renegades vs Hurricanes game are on sale now and can be purchased here. Find out more about the Renegades Family Day here.
