Stars & Bars Festival is an epic new musical bus tour taking to Heathcote this April

The Seven Ups

This countrified Musical Bus Tour festival will be visiting wineries and breweries around Heathcote featuring some of Victoria’s biggest and brightest stars

It’s been a rough run for the music industry over the past couple of years and despite it all, we’re seeing the music community come back unified and more determined than ever, with inherent ideas that are incredibly individualistic in nature.

While we’re seeing a lot of our favourite music festivals come back to life, there has also been some true one-of-a-kind festivals with themes that weren’t just eclectic, but also truly immersive and diverse from what we’ve ever seen before.

Stars & Bars Festival Heathcote is one of those.

Keep up with the latest music news, festivals, interviews and reviews here.

Created by Lincon Boyd, the brains behind the beloved past NaranaFest, Stars & Bars Festival Heathcote is a one-day Multi-Locale Musical Bus Tour giving punters a Whistle Stop Tour of Heathcote and surrounds featuring some of Victoria’s Biggest and Brightest stars on Saturday, April 23 2022. The festival brings together a combination of amazingly talented artists, an exploration of the finest wine, beer, food and hospitality the Heathcote region is quickly becoming known for and some truly unique locales as the backdrop for the event.

Offering a concept that stands out dramatically, Boyd is onto a real winner with this new festival, especially with a formidable, handpicked lineup featuring the likes of The Seven Ups, Nathan Seeckts, J.D. Delves & Harvest Moon, Alister Turrill, Joshua Seymour, Pete Daly and Mariah McCarthy. Representing everything from Alt-Country, Americana, and Heavy Groove, to Classic Rock, Blues, and Roots & Folk, these musicians are the perfect bunch to soundtrack your sonic sojourn.

Taking to the heart of Central Victoria, the bus tour will showcase the above acts across four locales over 12 hours, from 10:30am to 10:30pm. Across the day, the luxury buses will visit Tooborac Hotel & Brewery, Munari Wines, Flynn’s Wines and Palling Bros Brewery, with two free wine tastings sessions and afternoon tea.

For those that can’t spend the whole day, there’s a secondary option to join the Festival at Palling Bros Brewery in the Beer Garden from 5:30pm – 10:30pm where you’ll witness three acts: The Seven Ups, Nathan Seeckts, J.D.Delves & Harvest Moon. Enjoy a pre-show meal, sample some handcrafted beers or grab a Moon Dog Fizzer Seltzer from the Pop Up Bar.

What better way could you spend the Anzac Day Long weekend than to leave the city behind and hit the road with an extended Stay-Cation? Relax with friends old and new, take some time to tune in, drop out & breathe in some of that rarefied country air.

Tickets for this Trail Blazin’, Star Gazin’, Hell Raisin’ Countrified Music Festival Concept are strictly limited so get in quick.
