It’s certainly been a rollercoaster, but Splendour In The Grass is locked in and going ahead, today revealing three headliners for next years edition.
In good news, both Tyler, The Creator and The Strokes have signed up for the new dates and while Flume isn’t available for July 2021, legendary virtual British band Gorillaz will instead be heading to Byron to Rock The House for their 20th Anniversary event. The rest of the 2021 lineup is expected to drop early next year.
Splendour In The Grass 2020 was initially supposed to go ahead this month, with Flume, Tyler, The Creator and The Strokes set to headline. Then, due to the coronavirus pandemic and subsequent restrictions placed on mass gatherings, concerts and music festivals, it was pushed back to October. Finally, the organisers made the call to cancel Splendour 2020 altogether, and instead return 23 – 25 July 2021.
Tickets are on sale now, and while the event isn’t happening for over a year, it doesn’t hurt to be organised! 3 day tickets, single day tickets, VIP Village tickets and camping tickets are all available now via Moshtix – none of which have sold out at the time of writing. All 2020 tickets will be valid for Splendour 2021 edition, so keep your tickets and support live music if you wish to attend!
2020 ticket holders who are not able to attend the July 2021 dates are able to apply for a refund before 12 Midnight on Monday 27 July, 2020.
