This introspective artist is gearing for the show of the year.
Last Friday, old soul Timothy Wolf released his debut single In Your Arms Again. This truly spectacular single blends blues and soul together in a manner that perfectly complements Timothy Wolf’s stunning vocals.
The track is buoyed by gentle and restrained horns, coupled with smooth electric guitar and moving keys, however the cherry on top is Timothy’s angelic falsetto that would make even Al Green swoon.
Recorded in the tropical Byron Bay at Bernard Fanning and Nick DiDia’s famed La Cueva Studios, Timothy found his inspiration from 50s soul and rock legends like Otis Redding, Johnny Cash and Etta James.
“It inspires me that they came from a time where they literally founded and defined the rules of balladry and songwriting,” Timothy explained.
“I think In Your Arms Again is pretty true to some of these classic influences whilst lending itself to a contemporary soundscape.
“The song comes from a dreamy, old soul, rosy-eyed state. I’m lucky enough for all of my grandparents to have had 50+ year marriages. This song highlights the commitment relationships like this take whilst also drawing from within my own, rosy-eyed beginnings.
“There’s also a chance it might have come from one of the weddings I’ve played trying to support my original project,” he further added.
This alluring ode to long term love establishes his spot in the music industry, as Timothy Wolf has indeed arrived!
The single has already received an immense amount of love from Rolling Stone who called it a stellar track and Triple J who gave it a spin on the ROOTS show.

Despite having sold out his just-announced show on May 6th, Timothy has just released a second show for Friday May 5th!
