Geelong's only pool longue hits the ten year milestone this Saturday.
Slate Pool Lounge is celebrating its tenth anniversary this Saturday with a big birthday celebration.
The venue is offering free entry, free pool and free nibbles, with $10 WP shots (seasoned drinkers will be able to figure that out, but this is a family friendly site).
Being Geelong’s premier destination for budding pool players, Slate has held host to weekly competitions for some time now.
After reopening on the 8th of January, the bar is gearing up for a big party to celebrate the occasion. As Geelong natives will know any venue lasting 10 years is actually a big deal, especially a nightlife destination, this weekend Slate will be joining only a handful of venues to achieve that feat.
With COVID restrictions limiting attendance numbers and extending lines almost everywhere, this weekend at Slate could be the perfect way to start a night out and not have to stand in line for hours.
