Following the cancellation of a day on the green over the weekend due to illness, the concert has been rescheduled to next week.
In some highly anticipated news for the region, Sir Rod Stewart has announced the rescheduled date for the postponed performance at Mt Duneed Estate, Geelong with the new show now taking place on Friday 31 March.
“I’m so happy to tell you all that I’m feeling great and my a day on the green concert in Geelong is happening on Friday 31st of March,” Sir Rod Stewart said. “Please hang on to your tickets. I hope you can still make it. It’s going to be extra fun with my friends Cyndi Lauper and Jon Stevens. I look forward to seeing you there – we’re going to have a great time down in Geelong next Friday!”
Rod Stewart will once again be joined by special guests Cyndi Lauper and Jon Stevens for the rescheduled show, as well as Melbourne duo Dacy.

Tickets will automatically be valid for the new date without the need for exchange. For those that previously purchased tickets no action is required – just hold onto your tickets.
Patrons who are unable to attend the rescheduled show will be entitled to a full refund from their authorised point of purchase. Refund requests must be submitted to Ticketmaster by 5.00pm on Tuesday 28 March 2023. Please follow the refund instructions outlined in the Ticketmaster email sent to the original ticket purchaser.
A Day on the Green with Rod Stewart and Cyndi Lauper cancel Geelong show
“We are thrilled that we managed to find a free date in Rod, Cyndi and Jon’s diaries to confirm the new concert at Mt Duneed Estate on Friday 31 March,” says Roundhouse Entertainment director Michael Newton.
“We thank everyone for their patience and appreciate ticket holders’ understanding regarding the rescheduled show, and the logistics involved in turning around a huge event like this. We are thrilled we could get this show back on the road for what will now be Sir Rod’s final Victorian show.”
The concert was cancelled on Saturday with Rod Stewart apologising to fans for the cancellation citing a viral infection as being the reason behind the last-minute announcement.
Sir Rod Stewart will perform a massive 2-hour set from his vast catalogue of hits, while Cyndi Lauper will take the stage for an hour, playing all of her most-loved songs. Rock legend Jon Stevens and Melbourne siblings Dacy will be on support duties ahead of the headliners.
