Creativity, diversity, and the extraordinary NSW community will be front-and-centre at Sip and Savour, with new and special releases, exclusive collaborations and trendsetting menus on offer across the three days.

Fresh from its inaugural event in Albury earlier this year and its forthcoming event in Lake Macquarie this month, Sip and Savour – a new “taste of the region” entertainment festival series – is headed to Port Macquarie NSW for the June long weekend.

The three-day festival celebrating the best in food, drink, art, and live entertainment will take place at Westport Park from Friday 9 June to Sunday 11 June.

Keep up with the latest music news, festivals, interviews and reviews here.

Headlining the festival is alternative Rock group The Rubens (Saturday), and seven-time ARIA nominated artist and Gamilaraay woman, Thelma Plum (Sunday), supported by a variety of iconic and emerging contemporary soloists, duos and bands across the weekend.

A main feature of the Sip and Savour events is of course the Culinary Stage, which will showcase a variety of chefs over the weekend from celebrity names to local icons including Masterchef finalist, Byron Bay restaurateur, and proud Bundjalung woman, Mindy Woods. Each session will focus on sustainability and seasonality, spotlighting local ingredients.

For those looking to brush up on their pairing skills, you’ll be able to discover the latest in industry trends or test their local trivia knowledge, the Masterclass Stage will host a series of masterclasses, forums and workshops led by industry leaders.

A range of family-friendly activities will also be on offer across Saturday and Sunday to entertain the young and young at heart.

The additional Port Macquarie location is thanks to the continued support from the NSW Government’s  Regional Events Acceleration Fund (REAF), an initiative aiming to support the social and economic  recovery and prosperity of regional NSW.
