Single or not, spend Valentine’s Day at these special places

‘You doing anything for Valentine’s Day?’ seems to be the most common question in the lead up to this day of love and with these places, you can have an answer! If you don’t want to take the love of your life, take your friends instead, after all don’t they say best friends are your real soul mates? (Maybe that was just Sex in the City…)

Clyde Park are offering a Valentine’s Day exclusive dinner. For $75 per person, the three-course dinner includes a champagne cocktail on arrival with bookings from 6pm onwards. Set in an intimate candlelit room, the set menu includes Zucchini and Ricotta Fritters, Black Angus Scotch Fillet and Caramelised Lemon Tart with Lemon Sorbet for dessert. For more on the menu, or to book visit here.

Speaking of Sex and the City, The Worker’s Club Geelong are hosting a  specially themed trivia night for the popular series, in the wake of  Valentine’s Day. If you don’t make it out this Tuesday on protest, or just  can’t be bothered, then save your energy for the Wednesday, as this is t  the perfect girls (or boys) night out. If you’re going to fight over who is  Miranda in the group, do it over some smoked meats and drink.  Bookings are essential.

The luck of the Irish! The homely restaurant has de
dicated a special menu for Valentine’s Day alongside their regular menu. You can choose a two or three course special menu for that night only AND get complementary drinks. They’ve even hinted that if you’re planning on popping the question – they’re there to help! Numbers are limited, so book here.

This one is great for you and your friends, especially if you’re not into  the commercialisation of Valentine’s Day. For $80 pp. you can enjoy a  three course meal that’s inclusive of some delicious fancy desserts, like  Belgium Chocolate Fondant with Fresh Raspberries and Chantilly  Cream… yum.
