Originally born in London in 2017, Imaginary Millions has made its way to Two Doors Down in Ocean Grove. Run and hosted by surf coast local Rob Major, who founded the mega jam sesh back in the UK, this monthly event is all about connecting with others, creating music, and sharing the joy that comes with it.
The best part? The team provide a full backline setup, including drums, microphones, bass, and guitar amps—just bring yourself and your instrument (if you have one) and be ready to explore new sounds! Whether you want to jam solo with a ukulele, play in a full band, sing a ballad, or simply enjoy the experience, every moment is an opportunity for connection.
Over the last few months, the fantastic event has seen everything from heartwarming solos and a cappella performances to spontaneous jams and laughter-filled sing-alongs. People of all ages have joined in – from 4-year-olds to 91-year-olds – proving that music truly knows no bounds.
Next month, Imaginary Millions be gathering on April 5 at Two Doors Down, a fantastic venue on Waddawurrung land, with amazing food, drinks, and a great atmosphere.
