Curated as a genuine festival of culture, Wanderer features world-class production of music and art encompassing comedy, theatre, circus and artisan workshops over three unforgettable days and nights. Complementing the vast line-up of stellar national and international acts, the unique and creative spirit of the region is integral and featured throughout the music and arts program, epicurean feasts and craft offerings.

“Wanderer is beyond anything I could have hoped for in a festival and for this region. It delivers an authentic and exceptional festival experience no matter who you are or where you come from and it was amazing to see it so wholly owned, embraced and deeply loved by the local community as well as travellers from as far as WA and NT,” says festival founder Simon Daly.

“Staging a world-class event in this beautiful regional location is a huge challenge and we are so grateful for the support of the NSW Government as the event grows to establish itself as an iconic and permanent event.”

Minister for Tourism and the Arts Ben Franklin said the return of Wanderer Festival bolstered the NSW regional events calendar and would provide a significant boost to the NSW economy.

“After an incredible first event in 2022, we are delighted to support Wanderer Festival again and have it back on the NSW major regional events calendar,” Mr Franklin said.

“It proved an enormous hit with festival-goers and local businesses last year and in 2023 it will again draw thousands of people to one of Australia’s most pristine locations, injecting $2 million into the local economy over the three days.”

“We are committed to delivering world-class events like Wanderer Festival in regional NSW which drives tourists to the Sapphire Coast, supporting local accommodation providers, restaurants, pubs and retail stores.”
