In shorter and sharper form, Shepparton Festival is back on the cards for April 2025, with an added bonus come August.
Multidisciplinary, regional arts festival, Shepparton Festival has announced its 2025 return, opening the gates for event expressions of interest across areas of performance, music, literature, visual arts and food.
Returning to the Greater Shepparton area from Friday 4 April until Sunday 13 April, the festival which generally runs for two weeks will be slightly condensed to ten days but with a sharper program focus, aimed at celebrating the glorious creative community.

As one of Victoria’s longest running arts festivals, having run across 27 years, Shepparton Festival is a coming together of creatives across multiple disciplines to present interesting and inclusive projects to the community. 2024 saw collaborative art exhibition, Exploring the Present Through Our Past, take place at Riverlinks, a ukulele spectacular with Ukefied! thanks to the Numurkah Ukulele Club, a workshop series with Transit Dance as well as a performance of Suite 13 B, weaving workshops and so much more!
Bursting with creativity and culture, Shepparton Festival is a highlight of the regions event calendar and 2025 is bound to be even more bold. The festival is encouraging expressions of interest for creative pitches for their 2025 program. Whether it’s a bold new event, a unique project, or a creative concept that’s been bubbling away, now’s your chance to bring it to life. With no set theme, all ideas will be considered, so let your creativity soar.

In addition to the ten-day set festival in April, Sheppatron Festival will be returning in August for a Winter Weekend. Further details on the event will be announced next year as the month draws closer.
EOI’s are currently open for the main Shepparton Festival program and will run until Friday 27 September. Notification of outcome will occur on Friday 4 October and Final project details are due by Wednesday 16 October for the successful applicants.
